Overview
Biobehavioral Health (BBH) is an interdisciplinary program that explores the biological, behavioral, and social factors influencing human health. At Penn State New Kensington, students gain hands-on experience examining health disparities, disease prevention, and public health challenges.
Through coursework in biology, chemistry, genetics, psychology, and human development, students develop the skills to:
Conduct and interpret scientific health research
Apply evidence-based solutions to real-world health issues
Plan and implement health promotion initiatives

A BBH degree opens diverse career pathways, including:
